A committed community fights to stop the San Francisco School Board from closing their elementary school. Malcolm X Academy is a small elementary school nestled in the middle of the projects in San Francisco’s Bayview-Hunter’s Point District.

After seeing an article in the paper about the fight to keep the school open, Erica, as a one-woman crew, shot and edited this short documentary.
